Il y a quelques semaines, la Nuit Blanche investissait ses quartiers à Paris pour nous faire vivre le temps d’une soirée un moment singulier tout en mêlant art, musique et mode.
Mais avant tout ça, survient ce moment où on se demande « mais qu’est-ce que je vais bien pouvoir mettre… ». Au bureau, je raconte que je vais sûrement m’habiller en blanc, puisque c’est un peu la thématique ! Ma collègue Laurie rigole et me dit que ce n’est pas vraiment ça l’idée de la nuit blanche. « Et bah alors ? C’est grave docteur ?» Comme je suis un peu entêté (oui un peu) et que j’adore cette couleur, il était certain que ce soir là, je serai vêtu de blanc.
Je n’ai pas grand chose en blanc…
L’horreur de découvrir en fouillant dans son armoire que malgré cet amour de la blancheur, les seuls pièces de cette teinte se rapprochent davantage du t-shirt pour aller au sport qu’à un top pour sortir en soirée. Et que parmi les pantalons, il n’y en avait aucun en blanc. #LeChoc
Mais alors, on fait quoi dans ces moments là !?
Il restait à peine une semaine avant cette fameuse soirée. La première idée pour avoir une silhouette blanche était de filer au supermarché pour acheter une peinture pour tissu et jouer à l’apprenti créateur dans sa salle de bain. La seconde solution, c’est d’aller sur son ordi et faire son shopping. Ce qui est tout aussi fun que la première mais moins salissant (avec la peinture… On ne sait jamais ce qui peut arriver quand on s’amuse avec de la peinture…).
T’as le look coco !
Quand je vais à des évènements avec mes amis et que je dois me créer un look, j’évite de « trop » dépenser. D’ailleurs, je préfère mixer nouvel achat et anciennes pièces de ma penderie plutôt que de mettre du neuf de la tête au pied. Je trouve ça un peu too much et trop impersonnel, même si j’avoue que parfois cette opération est vitale si l’on veut avoir du #STYLE ! Comme ici où je n’ai presque rien en blanc.
L’une des bonnes adresses pour son shopping en ligne, c’est le site Boohoo.com ! J’ai pu y trouver de très belles pièces dans cet esprit du blanc, comme ce cardigan texturé qui est mon gros coup de cœur ! Et désormais, la famille des pantalons accueille un nouveau venu, un jean déchiré aux genoux qui fera fureur avec son côté rock !

Few weeks ago, the Nuit Blanche took over Paris to make us live a unique moment mixing Art, music and fashion.
But before that came the moment when we ask « what am i going to wear… ». At work, I told that I was probably going to wear something white, as that was like the derss code! My coworker Laurie laughed and said that that was not the idea of a ‘white night’. « So what? Is it a crime? » As I am a bit stubborn and I love white, I was certain that I am going to wear something white.
I do not have many white outfit….
I was horrified to discover in my closet that regardless of my love for white, the only apparels that I have and which is close to that color, are T-shirt to exercise rather than to go out. And among my bottoms, there was no white. #shocked
But then, what am I supposed to do !?
There was one week left prior the the D-day. The first idea that came up into my mind to ‘be white’ was to go to the shop and buy an apparel painting and to try to be a trainee designer in my bathroom. My second idea was to shop online, which is as funny as the first and less dirty (with painting… you’ll never know what might happen…).

When i attend events with friends and i have to dress up, I avoid to spend too much. For that, I mix the new and the old clothes in my closet rather than buy everything new. I find it too much and not impersonal, but you know what? I admit that sometimes, it is crucial if we want to have #STYLE! Like here where i have nothing white.
One of the best address for online shopping is Boohoo.com! I was able to find beautiful outfits which is in the spirit of ‘blanche’, like this textured cardigan, which is my favorite! And now, the pants family has a new baby, a knee-ripped jean which is a must for a rock touch!
