What strikes me the first time I have this phone in my hands, it’s its weight: just 144 grams and a 9,5mm case thickness. The P9 phone can easily hide in the pocket. I like its refined design and its aluminium hull, giving the watch a certain elegance.

As for performance, the Huawei P9 is as good as its American and Korean competitors. Equipped with the latest processor designed by Huawei, the Kirin 955, this phone has a memory capacity of 3GB. IN other words, with this smartphone, we can do several tasks at the same time, like swapping from one app to another, while listening to our playlist and taking pictures, or even playing a game… without any disfunction. Two words: fast and strong.

Those characteristics make the Huawei P9 a high end smartphone, but what really attracted me to this technological masterpiece, it’s a big innovation: a twin-lens camera.

The first lens is aimed for colored pictures, while the second lens is dedicated for monochrome pictures (black and white). A technical achievement made possible thanks to a partnership with the photographic giant Leica Camera AG.

The results? Exit untimely and endless image editing on our apps and softwares. The pictures are crystal-clear, with more light and the videos are of high quality. Like with a professional camera, customizable settings like “pro mode” are available. As far as I am concerned, I prefer the “selective focus” option, which enable to select focus and blurred zones so that they can be modified, even after the picture has been taken. Great, isn’t it?

Besides being elegant, the Huawei P9 is a mobile phone with impressive capacities. A nice alternative between photographic art and smartphone.
